Which state saw the highest 12-month membership growth?

According to the 2013 midyear data from Callahan & AssociatesPeer-to-Peer Analytics, Idaho posted the highest annual membership growth among all states. Credit unions in Idaho posted 9.54% in 12-month member growth on average to reach a total of 618,902 members as of June 2013. Virginia came in second with its credit unions having added a total of 545,380 members over the past year to reach nearly 8 million members as of second quarter 2013. New Hampshire rounded out the top three with a 6.59% increase in membership over the same period. Credit unions nationwide reported a 2.09% rise in total membership over the past year to top 96.3 million as of June 2013.
