CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER Central Willamette Credit Union $324M Assets - Located in Albany, OR Central Willamette Credit Union (CWCU) is searching for a new chief financial officer (CFO) due to the retirement of their current CFO in 2020. The CFO must be a leader from the financial industry. The CFO will report to the CEO and actively make contributions to the executive team. On the team, the CFO will provide valuable insights, information, ideas, and expert opinions necessary to achieve the strategic direction and business plan objectives. The CFO is responsible for motivating, empowering, and impassioning staff in a manner consistent with the credit union’s purpose and philosophy. The CFO must support a culture where the staff understands they are the key to success and have a personally vested interest in the credit union. This position is responsible for the management of the financial strength and profitability of the credit union through the management of financial planning, analysis and control, investments, asset-liability management, and liquidity; including the development of strategies, goals, and objectives. Qualified candidates must be willing to travel occasionally and will have: a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration (candidates with an advanced degree are preferred) 7 years of experience at the senior level of finance, treasury, and accounting in a financial institution 5 years of experience in a managerial role CWCU values, respect, integrity, ethics, compassion, and humor.
