Ventura, CA, April 21, 2025. The Board of Directors of County Schools Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce the selection of April Remnant as the credit union’s new President/Chief Executive Officer.

Remnant is a seasoned financial services executive with more than 25 years of experience, including 17 years at Ventura County Credit Union. She currently serves as Vice President of Payment Strategies at Ventura County Credit Union, where she has led cross-functional teams, driven key process improvements, and managed multimillion-dollar budgets. Throughout her career, she has built an engaging and empowering work culture, developed high-performing teams, and consistently delivered exceptional member experiences—while navigating the unique demands and challenges of the financial services sector.
Remnant holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration Management from Western Governors University and serves as the Board Chairperson for the CCUL Pacific Coast Network (Chapter) and the American Red Cross Pacific Coast Chapter. She is also the current Board Secretary for Western Credit Union Management School Alumni Association (WCMS).
