Human resources leaders across credit unions are navigating a period of continued change. Shifts in workforce expectations, talent availability, compensation pressures, and leadership development needs are reshaping how HR teams support both employees and the broader organization.

This virtual roundtable is designed as a moment-in-time conversation for credit union HR executives to step back, compare perspectives, and discuss how they are addressing today’s challenges. In a small, peer-driven setting, participants will engage in candid dialogue focused on real-world decisions, shared experiences, and practical approaches that reflect the current HR landscape.

What’s On the Agenda?
The agenda is driven by participants to ensure the conversation stays grounded in what HR leaders are dealing with today. Topics participants have raised include:

  • Attracting and retaining talent: How are credit unions positioning themselves as employers of choice in a competitive hiring environment?
  • Compensation and pay decisions: How are HR leaders making informed compensation choices while maintaining internal consistency and financial discipline?
  • Employee engagement: How are organizations sustaining engagement and connection as expectations about work continue to evolve?
  • Leadership development and succession: How are credit unions preparing future leaders and ensuring continuity in critical roles?
  • Managing performance: How are HR teams approaching performance conversations and accountability in a way that supports growth and clarity?
  • Organizational change and communication: How is HR helping teams navigate ongoing change while keeping employees informed, supported, and aligned?
  • Using HR data to inform decisions: How are systems, reporting, and analytics being used to provide insight into workforce trends and guide strategy?
If there is a specific challenge, question, or situation you would like to bring to the group, you are encouraged to share it in advance so it can be incorporated into the discussion.
Who Should Attend?
This roundtable is intended for credit union executives responsible for human resources strategy and workforce leadership. While we are focused on executive-level participation, we recognize that HR teams and responsibilities are structured differently across organizations. If you are unsure whether this roundtable is the right fit, or who from your credit union should attend, please reach out — we’re happy to help identify the most appropriate participant.

To keep the discussion focused and productive, participation is limited to no more than two attendees per credit union.

*Our roundtables are open to those with a subscription that contains roundtable access, and over 200m in assets.
