Credit unions were built on the idea of people helping people — but what does that look like in today’s world?
Blue Federal Credit Union and The Blue Foundation took this idea to the next level by launching its “Boost Center,” a one-stop family resource hub designed to support health, wealth, and happiness in its hometown of Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Since opening in October 2024, The Boost Center has become a vital community pillar, helping with everything from housing and transportation to food insecurity and financial wellness. Within the first month, 29 people were connected to one or more of 30 community partners and 15 more people received help in the first week of December alone. But how did Blue FCU bring this vision to life, what impact has it had so far, and how has the center been financially feasible?
Join this webinar to hear directly from Kim Alexander, EVP at Blue FCU, and Laura Fowler, Executive Director of The Blue Foundation, as they share the story behind The Boost Center’s creation and what’s next for this innovative initiative.
