Collections leaders are navigating an environment where expectations are rising and conditions are changing. For credit union leaders, the focus is not only on minimizing losses but also on preserving member relationships and trust.
This virtual roundtable is designed as a moment-in-time conversation for credit union collections leaders to connect with peers, share experiences, and discuss how they are managing challenges right now. In a small, peer-driven setting, participants will have space for candid discussion, practical insights, and real-world lessons that can be applied immediately.
What’s On the Agenda?
The agenda is shaped by participants to ensure the conversation reflects current realities in credit union collections. Topics participants have raised include:
- Collections strategy today: How are credit unions balancing recovery goals with member experience and retention?
- Operational workflows: How are teams managing daily collections processes, prioritizing accounts, and coordinating across departments?
- Technology and automation: What tools and systems are improving efficiency, providing insight, or creating new opportunities to engage members?
- Regulatory considerations: How are credit unions staying compliant with evolving rules while keeping collections effective and fair?
- Data and reporting: How are teams leveraging analytics to track performance and forecast trends to make more informed decisions?
- Member engagement and communication: How do you maintain consistent outreach while remaining sensitive to each situation and keeping member trust at the forefront?
- Risk management and policy alignment: How are policies evolving to address emerging challenges, including economic pressures and fraud-related concerns?
If there is a specific challenge, scenario, or question you would like to bring to the group, you are encouraged to share it in advance so it can be incorporated into the discussion.
