GTE Financial leads the way in education, awarding 26 Tampa Bay student scholarships at the 12th Annual Scholarship Luncheon. Finalists received $3,000 each and spent the afternoon celebrating at TPepin’s Hospitality Centre with their families, the Judging Committee, GTE’s Executive Management team, and GTE’s Board of Directors.

As a leading not-for-profit credit union, GTE Financial continues to support education and young adults in the Tampa Bay area through its annual student scholarship program. A select committee of Tampa Bay’s top professionals recently convened to select the recipients awarding 26 dedicated students with $3,000 scholarships, a total of $78,000 in award proceeds.

GTE Financial continues to give back to members and support education with its 12th annual student scholarship program. The credit union has elevated its awards from $2,500 to $3,000 to support student members and their educational journeys.

GTE Financial’s goal is to benefit the community through passionate support of local charities and initiatives that prioritize people over profits. The not-for-profit financial institution raised and donated $514,174 to local Tampa Bay charities and organizations in 2022.
