CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY CREDIT UNION DONATES $5,000 FOR EMERGENCY RELIEF IN TURKEY AND SYRIA
Christian Community Credit Union (CCCU) donated $5,000 to International Ministries (IM) emergency relief efforts for survivors of the recent earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. A 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Turkey and Syria on February 6, 2023, which was followed hours later by a second powerful jolt. Many buildings collapsed including hospitals, schools, and apartment blocks.

Truliant Eliminates Non-Sufficient Funds Fee
Truliant Federal Credit Union announced today it will no longer charge a fee for rejecting transactions as unpaid, commonly referred to as a non-sufficient funds fee (NSF). Additionally, it is introducing reduced costs with improved choices for overdraft services.
Maine Credit Unions Reach New Fundraising Milestone in the Fight to End Hunger
At an event hosted by the Maine Credit Union League on Wednesday, Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger announced it raised $1,000,434.19 in food and cash donations last year—surpassing its million-dollar fundraising goal for the first time! Since the Campaign’s inception in 1990, it has raised over $12.3 million to combat hunger in Maine.

Coastal Credit Union Returned $71.4 Million to Members in 2022
This morning, Coastal Credit Union issued nearly $4 million in special dividends to eligible members through its Loyalty Bonus program. The payout was shared among more than 79,000 members.
