Education Foundation for California Schools Announces Call for Applications for Teacher Grant Awards

The Education Foundation for California Schools, a non-profit organization created by SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union and the Orange County Department of Education, today announced that applications for the annual teacher grant awards will be accepted beginning Oct. 1. Each year, the grants help fund programs designed to encourage students to learn and excel in the core subjects of language arts, science and mathematics, foreign language, and social studies. The program is open to all teachers in California public and private schools, Pre-K through community college. Grants are awarded in $1,000 and $5,000 funding levels, and applications may be submitted by individual teachers, or by school teams of up to three teachers.
