Tower Federal Credit Union, one of the largest credit unions in Maryland, is pleased to announce the hiring of Cassandra Compton as new Senior Vice President and Chief Experience Officer (SVP/CXO). She brings to Tower over 30 years of leadership experience in the banking, mortgage, and financial services industry.
As SVP/CXO, Compton oversees all aspects of Tower’s member experience. including the member services division, e-commerce, digital channels and branch locations, as well as Tower Wealth Management, Tower’s in-house financial planning and investment group.

Having a dad who served in the U.S. Navy, Compton knows how important it is to support our nation’s active military and Veterans.

Before joining Tower, Compton served as First Vice President, Head of Private & Institutional Banking at Carver Federal Savings Bank, where she led growth strategies, developed branding and sales initiatives, and oversaw client experience. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Baltimore and is a Leadership Howard County graduate.
Outside of work, Compton helps military families and Veterans through her volunteer work with the Department of Veteran Affairs and Military Hearts Matter.
