When GreenState Credit Union launched its new auto recapture list in early 2024, Leen immediately saw it as more than a data initiative — it was a chance to deepen relationships. Blake was one of the first members she assisted from that list, and during the next three months, Leen helped Blake and his family with four auto loans, two refinances, and two new purchases, each paired with protection add-ons to safeguard their vehicles and financial wellbeing.
A year and a half later, the impact of that interaction came full circle. Leen received a call from Tony, whose coworker Blake had encouraged him to reach out. Tony needed help consolidating debt and financing his vehicles, and he trusted GreenState because of Blake’s experience.
Leen guided Tony through the process, helping him provide payoff information for two auto loans and nine unsecured debts. The results were transformative — Tony’s total monthly payments dropped from $1,439 to $797. Most importantly, Tony became a new member of GreenState Credit Union, joining a community built on trust, care, and shared success.
Leen’s story is a powerful example of how one genuine connection can spark another — and how GreenState’s mission to improve the lives of members continues to ripple outward, one relationship at a time.
