I was recently working with a member who had just purchased a car through CarMax. After sitting down and asking her a few questions, I had a better understanding of the situation and was able to leverage my skills as a certified financial coach to improve her situation.
I identified quite a few issues with the entire deal, so I contacted our partners at RCU Auto Services to see what we could do. We made a recommendation that she completely return the car to CarMax for a full refund. Immediately after that, we were able to put her into a brand new car through RCU. She was so happy and thankful that we took the time to research the situation and make a sincere recommendation that ultimately improved her financial wellbeing.
