Once A Member Always A Member

Community Credit Union of Florida

A 41-year member called about the possibility of getting a lower rate on her credit card with CCU. She currently had the lowest rate CCU offered. As we discussed other ways to help her save money, I discovered that she had recently purchased a vehicle that had experienced a total loss. She lives outside our area now and did not realize she could still use CCU to finance the vehicle she purchased.

I explained that once someone becomes a member, they are always a member. She shared that she had relied on the dealership for the loan on her small vehicle and that it had been financed at a very high interest rate. We were able to refinance the loan at a much lower rate and add mechanical breakdown protection and GAP coverage, resulting in a lower monthly payment than what she previously had.

She was very happy with her new financing!
