Asset Mobility In The Credit Union Industry

See how money in the movement has shifted in the past 10 years in this interactive graphic from Callahan & Associates.

The number of credit unions represented in each asset peer group as defined by the NCUA has changed significantly in the past decade. Some groups are larger. Some groups are notably smaller.

The graphic below shows how many credit unions fell into each peer group as of the first quarter of 2008 (left column) and the first quarter of 2018 (right column). The lines that connect the two columns proportionally represent the number of credit unions that moved from one asset group to another.

Hover over the lines for more detail or hover over the circles in the right column to see how many credit unions came from which asset bands.
