A Grateful Member Brings Pastries

Mrs. Lauer had just finished using the coin machine and then sat in the lobby. I walked over and gently asked if she needed anything. She mentioned she still had a transaction to complete, so I assured her I’d take care of everything while she remained seated and comfortable. After finishing the transaction, I brought her everything she needed, hoping it would help make her day a little easier.

The next day, she returned with some goodies to thank me. That’s when she shared that her blood sugar had been low the day before, and she hadn’t been feeling well. Her gratitude stayed with me, reminding me how a simple act of kindness can truly make a meaningful difference in someone’s day.
