Early one morning, 18-year-old Kadence was taking a familiar drive on her way to her job at a local animal shelter. Suddenly, three deer jumped out onto the road. Kadence swerved to avoid the first two but unfortunately hit the third. After pulling off the road and calling for help, she realized her car was totaled.
When Kadence started to learn about her options for purchasing a new car, a Lake Trust auto loan was the first suggestion from her grandmother. With no credit history, Kadence was skeptical. But she accompanied her grandmother to their local Lake Trust relationship center and immediately felt drawn in by the family energy. She was quickly approved for an auto loan, which gave her the freedom to find a car that fit her lifestyle and needs.
“It was definitely a big sense of empowerment and pride knowing that I could do it all on my own,” Kadence says.
Her journey to financial wellbeing is just the beginning. And with support from her Lake Trust family, she isn’t on this journey alone.
