The Illinois Credit Union League (ICUL) today announced Congressman Darin LaHood (R-IL-16) as its first Federal Credit Union Legislative Champion, recognizing his leadership and advocacy for credit unions and their members. As a member of the House Ways and Means Committee, Rep. LaHood has supported key policies impacting more than 300,000 credit union members in Illinois’s 16th District. He is the first recipient of ICUL’s Federal Credit Union Legislative Champion designation.
