Family Trust Federal Credit Union recognized for housing-focused financial education efforts

Family Trust Federal Credit Union (Family Trust) has been recognized by the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation with the Desjardins Adult Financial Education Award for its work combining financial education with housing stability for individuals transitioning out of homelessness in York County.
The Desjardins Adult Financial Education Award recognizes credit unions that demonstrate leadership in promoting financial literacy through education, outreach, and innovative programs that strengthen financial well-being. Family Trust was selected for its “Changing Lives Through Housing and Financial Literacy” initiative, a collaborative effort designed to meet people at a critical turning point in their lives.
