An Affinity member contacted us to recognize the outstanding service provided by one of our senior specialists during a recent fraud-related incident. What initially appeared to be an unauthorized credit card transaction ultimately revealed a more serious situation involving unauthorized access to the member’s bank account. Through her attentiveness and keen listening skills, our representative quickly identified the full scope of the issue. She responded with professionalism and urgency, immediately freezing affected accounts, closing and reopening accounts as necessary, reissuing a credit card, and ensuring all services were seamlessly transferred. She also coordinated directly with the Fraud Department, allowing the member to resolve the matter efficiently without navigating multiple contacts independently.
In addition to securing the accounts, she guided the member through establishing new login credentials and provided valuable education on safeguarding personal information moving forward. During what was understandably a stressful and overwhelming experience, her patience, clarity, and compassion provided reassurance and confidence.
