This story is about a member who purchased a used vehicle from his dad, which became his first car with a payment and gave him the opportunity to begin building his credit. After successfully paying off the loan, he was able to build his credit score to 750, allowing him to co‑sign on his girlfriend’s vehicle. When his girlfriend decided she wanted to purchase a car, she had never been through the vehicle buying or loan process before. He brought her in first so we could educate her on the process, empowering them with knowledge so they felt confident and not taken advantage of while shopping. Once they found the right vehicle, they returned and we completed the loan process together. Both were able to be on the loan for a brand‑new 2025 SUV.
