During our daily birthday calls, a Trax employee connected with a long-time member of 25 years and wished her a “Happy Birthday.” While thanking the employee for the birthday wishes, the member asked whether Trax also makes other types of outreach calls. The employee shared that we do and asked what she had in mind. The member explained that a close family member was currently undergoing cancer treatment and wondered if the employee would be willing to reach out and offer words of encouragement. The employee gladly made the call, sharing her well wishes and support.
The member and her family were incredibly appreciative of the gesture and shared that the call truly made their day brighter. It was a meaningful reminder of how small, personal moments of care can have a big impact — and how Trax continues to show up for members beyond financial needs.
