CALLAHAN & ASSOCIATES 2023 INITIATIVES SURVEY
  • Hiring and retention remain a major strategic initiative among most of the 43 credit unions surveyed. Workplace culture and process improvement and automation follow closely behind.
  • Despite new expectations driven by remote work during the pandemic, credit unions polled are not as focused on remote work and productivity, a sign many industry leaders believe there’s a close connection between in-office work and institutional culture.
  • Career advancement also ranked lower on the priority list, although succession planning (not included on this chart) remains a key concern.
